Dates Announced for Annual African Sports Betting Summits
Dates for the Eventus International annual African sports betting events have been announced. This year, three important summits are scheduled to be held, subject to restrictions that could be imposed by the pandemic.
The summits planned for this year are as follows:
– The 6th Annual Sports Betting East Africa+ Summit
– The 6th Annual Sports Betting West Africa+ Summit
– The 8th Annual BiG Africa Summit
Over the years, these events have served as a vital summit for operators, regulators, payment providers, software providers and manufacturers that serve the entire African gambling and betting industries.
The 6th Annual Sports Betting East Africa+ Summit
Eventus International said that this event will take place between June 21 – 22 at the Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel in Tanzania. In a press release, the organizers said that the event “is designed to empower operators through open discussion with all relevant industry stakeholders – be they operational, regulatory or market related” in the East African gaming industry.
The 6th Annual Sports Betting West Africa+ Summit
The next event will head to Lagos, Nigeria from 5th – 6th August, 2021. It will be held at the Federal Palace Hotel & Casino and will bring together all the stakeholders in the West African gaming industry.
The 8th Annual BiG (Betting & iGaming) Africa Summit
This time around, attendees will head to Emperors Palace in Johannesburg. This summit seeks to bring together all African stakeholders to provide networking and knowledge exchange opportunities from August 23rd – 24th, 2021.
The press release goes on to say about the BiG Summit: “The summit constitutes the optimal platform for gaining access to the gaming industry on the African continent – an event for gaming operators and suppliers to meet as well as the opportunity to network with existing and potential clients and peers, to discuss the way forward in the “new normal”.
