In a statement, Mike Page, general manager of Montecasino said “Rugby is in our blood for many South Africans, and MTN Boktown at Montecasino delivers the tremendous excitement and shared experience of being at the game. So much so that we are renowned as ‘The Best Place to Watch the Game’, as voted by the public in the Best of Joburg awards for seven years”.
Castle Lager Incoming Series
South Africans love their rugby and both the players and fans will be looking forward to taking on England on home soil after a long gap. England are returning to South Africa after 6 years and will be under pressure right away as they haven’t won a rugby test in South Africa since 2000.
The first test match starts on June 9 and will take place at the Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg. MonteCasino will be broadcasting all three test matches and is expecting a good crowd and hence it is best that you book your tickets in advance. Tickets are currently being sold at R30 and come with a complimentary drink. MTN Boktown will open its doors at 3 pm on 9 June.
