South African BetFlash Launches In-Play Betting
South African online gaming operator, BetFlash, has launched in-play betting for its patrons. The Betradar-powered offering is available via multiple channels, including PC, tablet and mobile.
In-play betting is the ability to place bets while the game is already in play. The initial offering provides in-play betting via the live odds solution from Betradar, an accredited international supplier, for football, rugby and tennis. The company has promised that more sports will follow.
“We are very proud to offer our in-play product on mobile, tablet and PC and believe it to be superior to any other in-play product currently in the SA market,” commented Samantha McMurtrie, General Manager at the Cape Town-based company. “We have focused on a clean, easy to use screen layout, as well as keeping the markets open for longer.”
The product offers a range of user-friendly features to improve the experience that customers enjoy. Players are able to request coverage of particular live games and can enjoy a wide range of bet types. McMurtrie described the interface as “customer-orientated” which has “shown to satisfy many players’ appetites for in-play betting.”
The Betradar product covers up to 12,000 matches every month with more than 14 sports available and over 100 bet types. The data is available via a global network of more than 2,000 skilled and proficient scouts who provide fast, precise and secure real-time data.
“As a trusted provider to over 400 clients globally, Betradar is pleased to include BetFlash as our latest South African client to launch the Betradar Live Odds product,” stated Greg Parsons, Director of African Sales at Betradar.
The statistical data and results that are collected by Betradar are entered into the system in real time, but BetFlash has its own local bookmakers to oversee the information.
“BetFlash thus now stands to benefit from the live betting mega-trend we have seen in Europe, one which has now certainly begun to gather momentum in the South African market,” said Parsons.
Licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board, BetFlash launched only last year and this new offering has gone live within its first year of operation. You can visit the online site, BetFlash to place a bet and enjoy the live in-play option. Or, you can access the live in-play betting option from your mobile or tablet device, allowing you to place bets on the go, wherever you are and at any time of the day or night.
