Springbok Casino Celebrates Disney’s Legacy Lion King
This summer, Disney released a live-action remake of the classic tale of the Lion King. Through September, South Africa’s Springbok Casino celebrates the South African animals portrayed in the story of Simba, a lion who looks forward to one day becoming king of the Pride Lands.
“The Lion King is my favorite Disney movie,” said Springbok Casino manager Daniel van Wyck. “It’s the second-highest-grossing film of all time so I guess I’m not the only one! It’ll be interesting to see if the new live-action remake will touch as many people over time.”
Lion King brings us a story of power, intrigue, identity, good and evil told from a perspective of lions and other animals that live in an imaginary lion kingdom. Simba, a young lion that appears to be smug and proud as a cub, later grows into a righteous king and a rightful heir of his father, the wise Mufasa.
Springbok’s Lion King page introduces us to real-life lions, meerkats, warthogs and hyenas. It also features trailers from the original Lion King movie and the new Lion King Live-Action as well as video from the long-running London stage version.
Springbok’s September free spins bonus is for the Cash Bandit 2 slot.
