Sun International, the leading international hotel and casino group, with many properties in South African and the subcontinent, has launched a new marketing campaign which will focus on its three five star establishments. The three international properties, one in Cape Town, the second at Sun City and the third in Zambia, will be marketed under a new single banner, the SUNLUX collection. The group sees these properties forming a ‘golden triangle’, linking the Table Bay in Cape Town’s Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the Palace of the Lost City in Sun City, Pilanesburg, and the Royal Livingstone in Zambia.
The marketing campaign will focus on each property individually, as well as join them in a linked ‘Africa’s Golden Triangle’ so that travelers will be able to travel from destination to destination and use them as a base to discover the continent’s must-see attractions.
The three properties are linked with exclusive affiliates who will market these five star casino and hotel establishments. The Leading Hotels of the World has The Table Bay and The Palace of the Lost City as members, while the Royal Livingstone is a member of Virtuoso affiliates.
The Table Bay is situated within the landmark Waterfront in the Mother City and opened its doors in 1997. The hotel provides visitors with the perfect location from which they can discover all that Cape Town has to offer them. The hotel has 329 luxury rooms, with either sea facing views of Robben Island or harbor-facing views of the Waterfront and Table Mountain.
The Palace of the Lost City is nestled in an extinct volcanic crater and surrounded by the big five Pilanesburg nature reserve. Part of the iconic Sun City casino resort, this five star flagship property offers visitors everything that visitors expect from a luxury African adventure, including exclusive safaris and an enticing 24/7 casino that includes slots and table games.
The Royal Livingstone is located on the banks of Zambezi River against the backdrop of the stunning Victoria Falls in Zambia. It forms part of Sun International’s Falls Resort which is located within the Mosi-ao-Tunya National Wildlife Park.
