A new partnership deal has been signed between the South African hotel and casino group, Sun International, and sport betting platform supplier Bede Gaming. This is Bede Gaming’s first entry into the local market.
Under the terms of the new deal, Bede Gaming will become the main technology platform supplier for the Sunbet brand, Sun International’s online gambling subsidiary.
A press release put out by Bede Gaming stated that the group “continues to establish itself as the number one choice for operators looking to grow quickly in the digital arena.” The release said that Bede’s “flexible platform is supplier agnostic and has proven its ability to integrate quickly, giving operators an extensive choice of suppliers.”
The chief executive of Sun International, Anthony Leeming said that the casino group required a flexible platform for leverage in the digital environment, and one that would allow Sun International to deliver the world-class experience which its customers expect.
“For this reason, it was an easy decision to partner with Bede Gaming, which has enjoyed significant success in other markets,” he said.
Leeming showed his appreciation to the Bede Gaming team, saying that had been “a pleasure to work with”, and that Sun International was excited to continue working in partnership.
Also commenting on the new deal was the chief executive officer of Bede Gaming, Michael Brady who said that to enter the South African market with such a respected name such as Sun International definitely underlined Bede’s commitment to grow its footprint in global regulated markets.
“We have been selected by Sun International because we offer a flexible platform and lightning-fast integrations that have proven successful in multiple jurisdictions,” he said. “Operators are demanding greater speed and flexibility, which is something we are able to deliver.”
“We look forward to building a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Sun International and will continue to build upon our market-leading offer.”
Bede Gaming has its headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne, with offices in London and Sofia. The company is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.
