Secret Agent Slot
Secret Agent is an interesting, but out-of-date video slot provided by SkillOnnet back in 2009. Set in the atmosphere of mystery and suspense known from old movies and comic books, the overall image is attractive only if you are a fan of those. At the time of release, however, Secret Agent was probably among the most appealing slots around. The game is played at 20 paylines, but you can select the number you want. On five reels Wild, Scatter and Bonus symbols can be seen, the latter introducing the bonus game once you collect enough of them. Doubled wins can be expected in Free Spins feature, activated if more than one Scatter symbol appears.
There was something adorable in black and white movies themed on private detectives, secret agents and other mystery-solving professions. Those romantic films included very few action scenes (especially in comparison to present day blockbusters), but were stuffed with suspense. Secret Agent video slot follows the same track, at least when it comes to visual solutions. Don’t worry, this is not a black and white game (Boy, that would be dull, wouldn’t it?) since the style is completely taken from themed comic books, which were coloured.
Symbols follow two main characters in their ordeal, so, Agent, Girl, Gun-pointing Man, Old Telephone, Pistol and a couple more symbols populate the reels. The main character, Agent, is a jackpot symbol awarding 8,000 coins if 5 of them appear on an active payline. Only one coin per bet is allowed, so total bet depends on a number of paylines and a coin value. Coin values are adjustable in Denomination tab and go from R0.10 up to R50, which suits any wallet.
Free Spins feature is triggered by at least two Scatter symbols. Three Scatters equals 5 free spins, 4 Scatters = 10 free spins and 5 Scatters = 20 free spins. We were disappointed with the number of free spins. Let’s be real, 4 or 5 Scatters is not something you can expect to happen often. At least, SkillOnNet placed x2 multiplier in free spins; otherwise they would be completely useless.
Bonus symbols open the door to the bonus game, called Bonus Bullets. Basically, during the game Bonus Gun symbols appear from time to time, adding the bonus bullet points (100 for each Gun symbol). Once the gun is full, e.g. 1000 bullet points are reached, Bonus Bullets game begins. A wall is covered with pictures of villains, and players need to capture 5 gang members. If all 5 of them are behind the bars a special cash prize is awarded.
If you enjoy watching old movies, especially old thrillers like Dick Tracy or you are a fan of comic strips with the same subject, you will love Secret Agent video slot. All others may find something interesting in it, but most probably, this game will seem outdated to them. However, this slot should not be overlooked
