Dracula Slots Review

We probably don’t have to tell you what mythical character this game is based on and as with so many of the slot games produced by NetEnt, this is a great one. With Nosferatu in the protagonist’s role, the online slots game was only released in early 2015 but has made quite a splash in that short time.

With no progressive jackpot and a relatively low fixed jackpot, at first glance the game may seem to be not as rewarding as some of its peers, but the fixed paylines, the bonus round and the free spins to be won make Dracula one worth trying.

Based on the myths of the bloodsucking vampire, Dracula has a fixed 40 paylines spread over five reels and the graphics and functionality of the game, not to mention the audio, are superb. However, the game does fall short in terms of payouts but if you love the thrill of the chase, this game has a few surprises up its virtual sleeves. One of these is the Dracula animation. Find the vampire and use him to complete a winning combination and he’ll jump to life in a way that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand at attention. The game has three wild symbols: Dracula, as already mentioned; the damsel who appears on reels two or four and like her vampire friend, is stacked; and the big bloody ‘W’, which appears on the second, third and fourth reels.

Though the main game may get old fast, the bat feature, which is the bonus game created by Net Entertainment, is a really fun one. In this bonus round, Dracula transforms into a flurry of bats that flitter onto the game’s reels and turn themselves into symbols to complete winning combinations. Any winning combinations are then paid out. Free spins can be triggered too if you find stacked Draculas and damsels on the second and fourth reels and you could get up to ten free spins.

The game features a payout percentage of 96.6% and while this is not as high as the payout rates you might find on other games, it is fairly decent. However, the game itself becomes a little tiresome despite its impeccable graphics and functionality and when you think about the maximum win of just 400 coins, your heart may pull you towards games just as gory, but perhaps more rewarding. All in all this is a game worth trying and has a lot of features you’ll want to see, but the question is, for how long?

If money is not that important to you, give the game a try but if you’re hoping to become a fast millionaire, this game won’t be able to deliver. Our rating: 65/100
