Zhanshi comes with an active background that showsccertain items in the background being animated that adds entertaining items to look at and add to its theme. Our thought on the background and design, is it’s simply amazing and clearly the RTG spent a great deal of time to perfect each aspet of this game. It’s also clear that they wanted to go for an animated finish instead of trying to make things look realistic and over developed, which is something we can appreciate.

The bonus games begin with wild symbols as usual. The wild symbol offers a few additional rewards of their own when seen on the reels. Firstly, they will substitute any symbol and complete more combinations, which excludes the scatters. They can also be used as scatters of their own and trigger a free spin bonus that rewards 15 to 25 free spins. The wilds appear during free games to reward combinations, but also to reactivate the bonus for other opportunites. We were surprised to find the wild activating features as this is not common in video slots, but its unique and always an added benefit in terms of additional features.
